A glob is the shorthand used for matching file paths in shells, build tools and ignore files. Writing one correctly is fiddly, because the meaning of * versus ** varies between tools. This tester shows you, line by line, which paths a pattern matches.

In this tool **/ matches zero or more whole path segments, so src/**/*.js also matches src/a.js.
What happens with an unclosed bracket?
The pattern is reported as invalid instead of producing wrong results.
