- Visa-exemption misjudged — applying when you are exempt, or failing to apply when you should.
- Wrong validity chosen — confusing single and multiple entry, or the wrong duration.
- Yellow-fever confusion — assuming the card is still checked at entry; it is not, though vaccination is still recommended, and the authorities may reinstate checks in a public-health emergency.
- Payment details not matching — an invalid approval as a result.
