Seychelles Travel Authorisation — Entry Documents Checklist

Seychelles has no visa requirement, but every traveller must obtain a Travel Authorisation (TA) before departure. This page lists what the application needs, what it costs and when to apply. Verified against the Seychelles Ministry of Foreign Affairs, October 2026.

The 15-second answer

No visa — but the Travel Authorisation is mandatory for all travellers. Apply online at seychelles.govtas.com or in the Seychelles E-Border app, upload your documents and pay the fee. You can apply up to 10 days before your flight and are advised to apply as early as possible. A visitor's permit is then issued on arrival for your intended length of stay.

Conditions

Documents the application requires

To complete the immigration procedure, a traveller must have:

# Item
1Valid passport
2Selfie
3Contact information
4Trip information
5Airline booking confirmation
6Accommodation booking confirmation
7Credit or debit card information

What the booking confirmations must show

Yellow fever vaccination

A yellow fever vaccination (International Certificate) is required only if you have resided in or recently visited a country where yellow fever is endemic, or if you have transited an endemic country (airport only) for more than 12 hours. It is not a general requirement for all travellers.

How to apply

  1. Go to seychelles.govtas.com, or download the Seychelles E-Border app.
  2. Complete the Travel Authorisation and upload the documents above (items 1–7).
  3. Pay the fee — a standard application is EUR 10.90.
  4. Apply up to 10 days before your flight (earlier is better), then carry the authorisation for arrival.

Prepare your photo

Your passport and identification photos need to meet official sizes. Check the Seychelles passport photo format (35×45 mm) on the size chart, sanity-check a file with the photo checker, and see the passport validity rules. If you also travel to the US, the six-month club list explains who is exempt from its six-month validity rule.
