Applications in Brunei for applicants aged 12 and over require the application form, identity card (original and copy), police warrant card / ABDB card (original and copy), birth certificate (original and copy), entry permit card if applicable (original and copy), a police report, a letter of complaint for the loss of the passport and a sworn letter from the court. For applicants aged 12 and under, the documents centre on the birth certificate and the identity cards of both parents, with the marriage certificate and, where applicable, divorce or adoption documents.

A CI holder is advised to check the visa requirements of the country they intend to visit before travelling.
